My tech that is in charge of maintenance had a quetion.

We had a RX-20 need some repairs.
During the repairs he was reading that there are regular and high speed units.

Any idea how you tell which is which?

The purpose was for checking / changing gear box oil.
They have different maintenance schedules.

How often do you seasoned guys handle this?

Thanks

I believe all the older units (many years ago) were low speed and the newer high speed 130rpms?. I don't even know if you can buy a low speed 90 rpms units anymore.

Yours would be high speed.

Some if the Hydramaster PDFs have maintenance instructions for both. I could see how that might mix you up. The old low speed units have a lower profile.

Totally different. Low speed is very old and gearbox is mounted sideways. Star heads are different. My buddy has a couple in boneyard.
