idk...is it for a fan clutch?

I'd guess a puller of some sort but for the ratchet sized square hole

To remove a stuck star.
We have a winner 🏆 🥇 the early low speed rx20's had a single lead thread and as you used the rotary the star got tighter and tighter and alot of times it would be on so tight you'd snap off a head trying to kick it off, i called this a hubcap it allowed me to use a breaker bar to remove it. Fortunately for us but unfortunately for me ,hydramaster went to a double lead thread and eliminated the problem i made 2 aluminum prototypes and 3 stainless

Another tool i came up with was a plug and jet tester if you took the star off for storage , you screwed this inn to keep crap out back end taped 1/4 20 ror quick connect front 1/8 female pipe was so you could clean clogged jets or use as a cleaning sprayer.the first picture is the machinest's interpretation of my idea we called it the "dick " picture #2 is what i had pictured in my mind, but was too expensive to manufacture even made a couple out of nylon. Picture #3was my favorite design and I still use the stainless one (only one made double lead thread)still too expensive to manufacture, bottom hex shape one was the design we could have manufactured using a stock hex material on a cnc machine,

Well, that was fun. Do more, Do more.
Ok but most of the things aside from the rx20's were built specifically to address problems with steamgenis , so with that in mind this one is for Bob, can you guess what i built this for? It solved a problem with servicing steamgenis in the early 90's and 2000s

Cool.

I met a guy near Denver a few years back who was still building Steam Genies. He had a machine shop in a storage facility. Forgot his name. You probably know who I'm talking about. They we're trying to resurrect the steam genie brand or something along those lines.

Those curved vice grips are the perfect tool for compressing disk brake calipers.

Yes unless you have the new type, I almost ruined the caliper on my shelby, you don't squeeze um , you turn them in

Agreed 👍

Turn the screw a little, squeeze the handle a little. Bit by bit.

A Shelby sounds cool 😎

Got any pics of that? It might be fun to guess the year.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

Thank you very much for reminder.

I have a brake job coming up soon and will be on the lookout for it.

No problem, you'll need 1 of these, i used the cube on the mustang but it's a pain in the ass to use i bought the set (like 1 pictured) from harbor freight shortly after

I figured everyone replaced the SG valve with a different one
I did
I started in '90 with a Hydro-Genie and drag wand.
That valve was ridiculously expensive to a starving BDCC (broke dik carpet cleaner)

I cut and drilled the drag wand handle an fit a PMF valve in it
