Replaced the seals on my tank lid. I noticed that suction was getting pretty nimble. It's time for a new seal. I was able to replace it with the real deal type seal that Prochem uses. I was three feet short so I temporarily used Ace Hardware weather stripping until my remaining three feet get delivered. The last time I replaced the seal I used the hardware store stripping. when I went to remove it this time it was a slurpy mess. It worked okay, but did not last as long as the real stuff.

If you guys need the real deal, here is where I found mine.

I guess I'll go without you.
Ha, well my summer is really getting messed up. The entire month of july I'm camping with the family then cruising to Mexico. Lets see as we get closer.

I do want to go to Gardnerville to look at a sailboat.

What I've found to be a great seal material for lids like this is the seal rv stores sell to put between camper shells and pickup beds . The 1 I've used in the past had great adhesive and is belted like a bicycle tire and lasts forever i got a piece at my shop if your interested tomorrow i can take a few pictures and see if there's any info on the box

Shasta lake up 5+ feet in 24 hours. 9 more days of this. On the flip side, the Bureau of Reclamation is increasing the flow out of the Dam. It's like they want us to be in a drought and the bay area to flood.
