Two year old hotel, beautiful water side pool, onsite bar and resturant, close to Madeira Beach and John's Pass and loads of night life @ $219 a night

The famous St Petersburg Firestone Grand Prix race is being held the same weekend in downtown St Pete so hotel choices were very limited and expensive.
The hotel, RMH and Jon Don locations are all about 25 minutes apart.

That's Nascar.
Had a friend who worked at Indy. Said the Nascar races the fans cleaned up after themselves. The people at the grand Prix races left trash everywhere he said.

Cars are much different, as is the crowd. Beer vs Wine.
I like the NHRA best but open road and oval race tracks are cool too.
