Draper my fuel costs per year are around $9000. Doc is correct, I'll spend $9000 a year dual wanding or single wanding jobs. Three jobs a day or five jobs a day same fuel used but it still is not through the roof I don't think.

What are the differences between all the Aerotechs from old to new?

Silencer has been mounted. Also notice how the box frame is bolted to the chassis frame.



Inlet tubing from blower to recovery tank has been installed. Kinetico water softener has been installed.

Where does the Kinetico dump the brine rinse during recharge? Mine is plumbed directly into the waste tank.

My 2005 is almost identical to the new one. There are a few minor differences. I don't have a duel pressure regulator. I have the new silencer since my crash.

Engine oil - extremely easy, one large filter on mine that goes straight up. Nearly filled it with 2 liters of oil to give you an idea of the size

blower oil - easy, especially if you put their new drain valves that are pictured here a few posts ago!

pump oil - drains out super easy.

pto - grease gun + and a piece of cardboard - easy

more room and easier on this thing then my previous cleanco/butler hybrid lol

If you have an older ud, you should have 2 filters. The main large one you have mentioned and an oil bypass filter. I believe 2005 and newer have a different motor altogether.

Thats because those old log wagon UD's have to work so damn hard just to get out of your drive way..they need all the filtering and help they can get.......
when the day ever comes and you feel the power of a real truck under you....you won't know what to do with yourself.......

My AT is just over 7 years old, and the machine is still a monster! Other than regular truck repairs/maintenance & belts for the machine I have only had 2 parts fail, the 7 gallon solution tank leaked and needed replaced, and 1 digital readout for water temperature... Much better than ANY machine I've run in the previous 29 years before this one!

Without question fantastic truck and engineering . Almost a work of truckmount art. ( just to big to hang on the wall)
and I'm sure a world away form what the old v/at s where.

Its not for me or my business model as it is . But I can see the beauty in that beast.

we have loaded some equipment on the driver side racking system. Here are some new wand holder we came up with.


We will have a few more items like upholstry tools and stair tools hanging at the show. As you can see, there is a lot more room for equipment on the wall.


A few gallons of chemical and some air movers loaded up.


Ceiling hooks for carpet rakes, grout brushes, etc.


Vacuum hose and 3000 psi, 310°F rated solution hose has been loaded up. The red sleeves on the solution lines are our safety sleeves. If a crimp were to fail, this helps get water away from the operator.

The grey hose is being used to fill up the fresh water tank so we are prepared to give demo's at the show. The blue hose is there to be used to fill chemical jugs (pump sprayers, hydro force injection sprayers, etc). This will give the operator high flow since it is a 5/8" hose, up to 170°F water, and wont have the spray back from using a pressure line to fill jugs. Its plumbed with a quick connect so it can easily be removed.

Did anyone notice the choice of carpet wands and how they were organized?

Ha Ha Ha This is a good example of evolution is the industry!

to remove a wand from its bracket, you just straighten the wand into a more vertical position and it comes right out.

what do you think of the carpet wand brackets?
