Why in the world would we be "terrified" to find a system/method that does better and is CHEAPER to operate :icon_rolleyes:
think about it, Mardie
Yep why wouldn't just switch? Its not like we enjoy more overhead.

Now I'm not saying your head is up your ass or anything like that BUT is it possible that John stopped short and your head is up his? :p

Fun ain't it?

tell me the truth, Mardie, while you servicing the oil industry up north, your truck broke down and the wolves ate your brains, didn't they?

I find it odd that all you Steam Cleaners have not shown any curiosity or even acknowledged the benefits of being able to test the work you perform .

I do it every single day.
Here's the exact protocol:

"Carpet, carpet
On the floor
who's the bestest
of them all?"

Shocking results to be announced later.

For instance when I bought my Cimex it was not for the sales pitch that was selling the machine. I bought it to apply my pretreat and do a pre scrub. Do not think I did 3 encap only jobs with it in the time I used it. To me them results were horrible.

that statement makes every1 here who uses a Cimex on CGD shake their head...you were doing something very wrong. unless you meant you tried to use your Cimex as a stand-alone on resi carpet??

as others are pointing out, i've seen a carpet cleaned with a TM by a tech who knows what he is doing...it CAN dry as fast as VLM. i bet you have to. they just use way more water by comparison, that is why we call ourselves VLM'ers...it has nothing to do with dry times. but i think you know that and are just stirring the pot :p

Richard you are missing my point as usual. Probably on purpose. lol I could care less how you decide to clean carpet. I know that with employees you need a system that well trained monkeys can operate and i don't blame you for choosing HWE or tat reason. Please reread my post you are responding to and this time don't skip over the jist of it.

How did you know Reeko about my sudden onset of a ROID yesterday?

Ran out of prilosec and was taking too many rollaids and it blocked me up.

So I text my wife at work and tell her to stop off at walgreems and pick me up some ROID creme.

I guess she didn't know what I meant and came home with a pint of Chunky Monkey ice cream.

Well in desperation chunky monkey was slathered all over my behind.

Cool and refreshing is all I can say.

Multiple uses for this outstanding product..................kind of like fels napha?

Absolutely true story ..........................so in ASSence......................KMA!

And oddly, he takes Preparation H orally.

Derek I am talking about the carpets that do not dry fast and not the ones that do. When I use the Cimex on cgd or residential then follow with the VS there is a big difference every time.

Water that is too hot can throw off the draw on most injection sprayers, I believe LESSENING the output of concentrate.

Not exactly sure what too hot is (200+??) , but it looks like you may be approaching it there.

Goomer,
I played a trick on ya buddy. I had the front door cracked n it was freezing out.

190 at the machine and that was about 60' from the truck so : )

Now I remember why I don't spend much time on this board. The amount of ignorance in this thread is astounding and the name calling is a classy touch also. The worst part may be the fact that the owner of the message board is the ring leader.

What Doc is trying to say is that the name of the machine keeps changing.

It's common in many. Industries, instead of making improvements over the years to the existing name brand that has built a solid reputation, companies reinvent and introduce a " new " model

Premium brands don't require this sales BS to ignite sales

What about premium brands like Chevy, Ford and Dodge?

The point is you don't let her have an option when its not the right thing for the situation. She is not the professional, her decisions are not coming from an educated position. She has no experience with this and she will pick which is most convenient not most effective.

So, if your business was a restaurant, would you sell french fries to fat people or would you not give them a choice?
If you were a contractor, would you build the customer that 2 bedroom house they want even though you know a 3 bedroom would have much better re-sale value?
If you owned a grocery store and I told you I was a diabetic, would you sell me that bag of licorice in my cart?

Premium brands like Chevy, Ford and Dodge? I never said Hydramaster or other companies have changed their name, just their product line names to improve sales

First. I disagree any of these 3 companies would qualify as a premium brand

Corvette could be considered one

Your analogy is wrong however, Ford is to Hydramaster as Spitfire is to Escort.

I am speaking of a long standing brand name that hasn't changed, just made incremental improvements... Ie Mustang, Corvette, Butler etc

I remember a Bane Convention where a featured speaker was a guy who replaced a Butler with a Bane unit. Went on about the faults of the Butler ad nauseum.

Just illustrated the fact that there are rubes everywhere. I doubt he could stay in business long.

So Fred what has any of this silly argument of yours got to do with carpet cleaning ? It does not change the fact that the Trinity OP machines are superior to all other OP machines made. If someone like you made the best of what I needed I would not let the color of your skin, accent, speech impairment, or the way you presented it to have any barring on my decision process. It is all about me and my needs and that is what is important to me. I suppose you choose your insurance agents by how short her skirt is and criticize the short ugly insurance agent.

You should go find another tree to piss on.

Lee you sound silly suggesting that because a guy prefers Bane over Butler that he would go out of business. Do you think that all Bane operator go out of business ? Have you been drinking again ?

No, fortunately many Bane owners graduate to better machines before that happens. We did. I wish I'd have bought a Butler 1st. Live and learn.

So your saying that if they don't leave Bane they would go out of business ? I would bet there are many successful happy Bane operators in the field.
I say to each his own.

The numbers bear out my observation.

The Bane organization has great people, great training, good chemicals and support. However they bet their future on a wildly underpowered machine that that didn't keep up with the market.

They were my first "universe" of cleaners from coast to coast, some great people. Like us, a great number of them have moved on, with some regrets, and fond memories.
