Appears to me that each set of bearings front and back have their own drain lines.

For a show truck.................

take the time and rhino line the floor....any of us that have had/still own a Vortex or A/T can tell you it does not take long for the aluminum to look like crap and go to hell.......

this is what it use to look like....

clean it up ( repair all the holes ).....and add an epoxy coating to to fill in all the ribs and adhere the rhino lining......

Jim, what white coating was put down on the alum. before the LineX/Rhino?

I know liners dont stick well to straight aluminum.

Most all liners can bond straight to aluminum whether they are Rhino, Line X, Scorpion, Vortex, etc. They most all take an etching primer for the liner to bond properly. Just like anything else, it all depends on how well you prep the surface being coated......same case as good ol' painting, if not prepped right, it will peel right off.

Is that truck diesel....

Can this set up be put into a Chevy W4500 that runs on regular gas so that fuel wise it would be less expensive to operate

I would also like to see the 3000 psf option! Since the heat exchanger is built using SS tubes and not copper it seems feasible. I would really like to have the ability to add on "true" hot water pressure washing for my restaurant clients and do the best job possible! I could "easily" add 2-3 grand a month which would more than cover the expense of the A/T. A/T any considerations on this?

yes we can give you 3500 psi! We used to use a 3500 psi 4.5 GPM cat water pump standard on our units up until about 2007 or so. All we would need to do for you is install the Cat 5cp-3120 water pump, and go back to our (4) shell exhaust exchanger that was rated for the psi.

another thing to keep in mind...... when using 1/4" solution hose 100ft long, and say your flow is 3 gpm (very conservative for some pressure washing tools) you will lose 380 psi. If you were to use 3/8" hose when pressure washing, you would only lose 50 psi. Say you were 200 ft from the truck, you would lose over 700 psi with 1/4" hose and only 100 psi with 3/8" hose. Just some food for thought.

diesel engine! Only way to go! Majority of gas engines don't have a PTO port.

only consumes 1.8 gallons per hour at speed 1 and 2.1 gallons per hour at speed 2! Thats competitive right there with the rest of the competition.... but you get a huge "SUCK MOP"

I don't recommend turning a 100 thousand dollar machine into a pressure washer.

There are many hoses that can and will blow if used as one. I used my V at max pressure (3000) too many times and paid the heavy price.

Go buy a $500 unit if you want to blast sidewalks.

Tile and stone cleaning rarely needs any thing north of 1200 psi.

Those big machines are just for guys with small peckers trying to compensate for their personal short comings! :eekk:

Spend that 100K on a wiener extension and you won't have to worry about were to park the big truck.

d. I can't understand how anyone that calls themselves a professional doesn't seriously look at these machines.

Most try to justify why they don't need one and all the reasons I have ever heard are dead wrong.

I think it's un professional to not want to give your customers the best. Many will argue my last sentence and it's up to a true professional cleaner to read what I said and figure it all out.
Dave

you're a retard
Lockhart has a case of the dumbass too, I see

if a biz isn't utilizing the capacity of the mega mount, they're wasting money
and the owner that buys one for primarily single wand use is a retard too

But i have to ask Dave , weren't you grinding soil with a Cimex and slop/smearing it up with bonnets in RESIDENTIAL for a year or two not too long ago??
Seems I recall you posting how great it was ....should I do a Navasearch??
