Wool Fringe Question.....

I don't clean many area rugs.....especially wool. I had one today with a coffee stain that would not come completely out of the white area between the fringe and the rug body. What would you use?

a reducer!

but sometimes hot water w/ a neutral detergent and a hand tool will pop the spot out
