Thank goodnes all of the cgd we’ve pulled was super old and dried out so we just cut slots for hand holds and just pulled it back!

That’s definitely the way to do it just cruise along

Carpet puller on a motorized pulley is easy too. Then use a scraper disc on a 175 for the glue. Actually pretty easy.

Took on an ITT school many years ago.....maybe pre 2000. I put in bid to replace the entire schools carpeting, fully knowing I'd sub it out to a friend installer. probably 20,000 sf. I ended up helping him pull all the CDG by hand, 1' strips. Wow, never again.

Hell, I don't even want to get out and clean anymore.
