In today's online opportunity, post COVID world, when you consider all the sills that "we" require our from our technicians, starting pay should be $40 an hour bare minimum.

and even that won't get you a young person who has even half of these qualities...

People person
Good work ethic
Attention to detail
Understanding of basic chemistry (and the concept of gravity)
Moderately mechanical
Physically fit
Soft Salesmanship
Responsible

Ok, there's a difference in a helper and a cleaning tech. What do you start a helper out? Going wage of a good janitor, and I mean a good one. Or maybe less and work him or her into a good tech?

My guys are paid commission, which comes out to about $30-$50 an hour.
How in the world do you pay 50 per hour, match social security & pay 15 -30% workers comp???? Carpet Cleaning????or at that rate are you paying social security & workers comp.?. Workers comp was the nail in the coffin and made me go back from 3 employees to owner operator
