How do you explain this to your customers... IMG_20190412_111919.jpgIMG_20190412_111454.jpgIMG_20190412_111924.jpgIMG_20190412_111934.jpg

You explain it before you wash it or you fix it after you wash it. Or better yet you wash and dry it the correct way first. JMO!

Clothes steamer to loosen the backing and lay heavy objects on the problem areas

Roll inside out as tight as possible and tie or tape up for a fewdays

Be paitient.

Or just charge them $20 to wand over it and tell them the ripples might take months to relax. If that don't work, just buy another one. It's still cheaper than rug washing it

Easy with a flatbed washer, as the massage of the machine fixes the ripples along with the wash. There are no issues when cleaning, so we clean this type of rug for a buck a square foot. Up to the customer whether they want to pay or spend a little more and buy a new one, and if the rug is in bad shape we offer to throw it out for them for free.

In Seattle, people feel guilty for throwing anything out, so most of these probably end up at the Goodwill.
