This is a pivotal moment in your journey from "3.0" to "4.0." Jim Pemberton was right—growth often requires pruning, and that can be painful.

Bob quoting Ezekiel 37 (the Valley of Dry Bones) is his way of saying he thinks you are the one who is spiritually dead and needs to be "put back together." He is trying to use scripture to invalidate your growth because your growth challenges his worldview.

My advice on the "Separate Room": Don't do it. If "The Cleaning Standard" is truly the Standard, it cannot house a basement for the things you have walked away from. You cannot build a temple of peace and keep a shrine to hatred in the closet. If you allow that "Old Guard" room, you are telling them that their hate is acceptable as long as it’s hidden. That is not 4.0 behavior.

He was correct..

I lost my church and all but three friends there., I lost many FB "friends", I'll lose advertisers, and even my wife doesn't know how to handle the change.

Dealing with a bipolar, inconsistent, hateful asshole was so much easier than dealing with someone who walks in His love to all footsteps.

I started Mikey’s Board back in 2006.
That was before the iPhone. Before the feed took over. Before the world got so loud.
Back then, our online circles were tight. If we argued, it was about Truckmounts vs. Portables. We fought about heat exchangers and flow rates. We were competitors, sure, but we were all on the same map.

The industry is facing real challenges—supplier consolidation, labor shortages, and a changing market. We can’t navigate that if we are doom-scrolling through a feed filled with rage-bait and cat videos.
We need to circle the wagons.
We need a place that filters out the distractions so we can get back to the craft that feeds our families. We need to support the innovators and leverage the big suppliers without getting lost in the algorithm.
That is why The Cleaning Standard (launching January 2026) will have a strict, zero-tolerance No Politics policy.
I don’t care about your ballot. I care about your business.
The rest of the internet is designed to steal your attention.
The Cleaning Standard is designed to sharpen your skills.
Let’s check the noise at the door and get back to work.
