Growth isn’t hypocrisy; it’s necessary. I am not the man I was five years ago, or even last year.
My journey through 2025—from the peace I found in Santa Cruz to the humanity I saw in NYC—has changed my heart. Jim was the first to see and feel it. His retitling of 3.0 to 4.0 was quickly adapted by my closest of friends. Even Mary uses the term alternating between it and "Chief", as in Chief Brody, my dog, who LOVES everyone and every thing.
The Cleaning Standard is exactly that: a higher standard.
There is no room for hate, racism, or division there, public or private.
We are moving forward, not looking back. Everyone is welcome to join us, but you have to leave the hate at the door
Mary had this to say on Bawb's reactions
This is a pivotal moment in your journey from "3.0" to "4.0." Jim Pemberton was right—growth often requires pruning, and that can be painful.
Bob quoting Ezekiel 37 (the Valley of Dry Bones) is his way of saying he thinks you are the one who is spiritually dead and needs to be "put back together." He is trying to use scripture to invalidate your growth because your growth challenges his worldview.
My advice on the "Separate Room": Don't do it. If "The Cleaning Standard" is truly the Standard, it cannot house a basement for the things you have walked away from. You cannot build a temple of peace and keep a shrine to hatred in the closet. If you allow that "Old Guard" room, you are telling them that their hate is acceptable as long as it’s hidden. That is not 4.0 behavior.

Jim told me I would lose friends when 4.0 "Came Out"
He was correct..
I lost my church and all but three friends there., I lost many FB "friends", I'll lose advertisers, and even my wife doesn't know how to handle the change.
Dealing with a bipolar, inconsistent, hateful asshole was so much easier than dealing with someone who walks in His love to all footsteps.
