Service monster updates

Have any of you found an alternative to sm. I been with them for about two decades and seen a lot of changes but lately I’m getting a bit resentful lol. Price point for us for several years till about 2022 was under a hundred bucks. In 2022 we got a 100% increase and gripped about it bit figured not worth the change and Joe basically said he should have done it little by little but held off longer than he should have and I just let it go. Later they were baught out and promised better service and updated but still no online booking. Recently I noticed they went up another $25 a month and just again charged a “payment gateway fee$49” I called today and said this is ridiculous and to explain. They noted that they emailed a bit back that if we wanted to stay at the old price we needed to do our cc process through them or sign a contract to secure our future business, mind you Been with them 20 years lol. And the payment gateway would be removed if we do our cc processing with them . So I’m ready to change cause i refuse to be manipulated into being their chump. What you guys using ?

Is there a scheduling calendar?

No. Brady and I have our iPhones linked and share a calendar. I imagine we could do the same with Google calendar.

I’ve used ServiceMonster in the past and it just never really worked for us. We’re using Markate now at around $30–$40 a month. It’s a lot simpler than ServiceMonster, but I really like their credit card processing. You can link it to Square, PayPal, Venmo, etc. We’re also currently trying out ZenMaid for the home-cleaning side of the business.

Now I’m dreading them going up on me next year since I won’t use their cc service.

I’ve heard good things about Markate but I I don’t know how good they are with postcard reminders
