We are trying to see what's more common 3 prong or 4 prong 220 volt plugs.

50/50 here. With the Mytee boxes we bought we also have several adapters for those and our 220 E-Tes units.

The three prong was standard for years. The 4 prong only became code in 2000 if im not mistaken.

4-in the newer homes and three in the rest.
