It’s supposed to be pink

Is what the homeowner told me. They had sent their 100% silk rug out to be cleaned and it when it was delivered back it was so dark they did not think it was their rug. I fixed the problem on site. Here is the before and after. It’s dramatic.

Grooming is often done wrong. You can feel the difference when grooming. Grooming with the grain is easier than grooming against it. Usually the color is lighter with the grain but there are exceptions.

No. I did not charge them for grooming the rug. I was actually there cleaning all of the wall-to-wall carpet and they asked about the rug that another company had cleaned. But I have their rug business now. They have a total of 8 silk rugs that I’ll be maintaining for them.
