Symmetrical or Turkish knot

V weave or velvet knot

Another symmetrical knot but this time around 4 warp yarns rather than two. This is done to save labor time and makes the rug cheaper. It requires less knots to fill the same space.

Asymmetrical or Persian knot open to the right

Showed all those knots in the rug ID presentation at Mikefest 2 weeks ago.

The term is Jufti when a knot is tied over 4 warps vs 2
