Like time said, we will beat you with a broom stick if you put wax down on ceramic tile. that requires a stone/grout specific sealer. Now if you were asking about two different services.. well I'd say for ceramic we charge:
0.50 to clean and 0.20 to 0.40 to seal residential and like Mikey asked, depending on size we will offer a volume discount and open areas.
For VCT that requires stripping, maintenace and/or waxing. We charge 0.25 to strip and 0.60 to wax. (yes its backwards but our customers see more value in applying a finish than in taking it up, even if it takes longer to strip than to wax.) So the customer is always right!
