How do you remove a Cat pump clutch?

Does it have to be pulled off? I was thinking this might work but not sure...

make sure there are no set screws

Take the center bolt out. Some will have the center tapped for a larger bolt. Insert larger bolt and tighten pushing the clutch off.

If not tapped use a puller

Why not test it to see if it works?

Attach negative to the frame and run positive to the hot wire off clutch.

ahh you DO KNOW the masking tape trick to assure even tolerance upon reinstall.....right?

Pulley puller make sure It can open to the size of the pulley. You can go to oriellys and they will let you borrow one for just a deposit.

once you use a "pully puller"....it won't matter............

OK..wrap the magnet wit ONE layer of masking tape being very careful NOT to overlap it at the ends.......press firmly so there will be no bubbles in the tape....trim excess off with a razor blade... then install the field and tighten down...THEN take the 7/8 course thread bold and push off the magnet....remove tape and then install magnet back on with center bolt.......WAA LAA....you've achieved the clearance between the magnet and the field........

bawb...you need to quit smokin that shit weed.....a puller used properly isnt going to do anything to the clutch....how do you propose getting one off that ISN't tapped?
