fringe cleaning

I tried rx for fringe. sprayed on let dry, rinsed next day, let dry. now it's a little on the brown side.

I seen a video on rug cleaning from Bane-clene and they spray 20 vol on it. I thought peroxide is bad for natural fibers???

I'm confused

How do you do your fringe?
