Quit talking about these little beasts and show us how it performs!!! I want to hear and see the startup, the steam, and the wand moving with the instant before/after. Now that we know the guts, let's see it roar!!!

Remember MF number somethingorother at Mytee and the porty shootout/evaluation?

Ron “OCD” Werner was in charge of it
With his OCDness, I had no doubt it would be as straight as possible

My prediction at the time ?
Wouldn’t be a dime’s worth of difference in any of them .
And there wasn’t

Ed’s Recoil did win by a few drops of moisture though.
The big surprise was the TruckForce whoopty-doo mega port was last by a few drops

Take-away lesson and moral of the story ?

All portys are pretty much the same performance wise .
Paint brushes aren’t .
Wooster are the best
Or if you’re a cheap fook, Sherwin Williams Contractor series are pretty decent and as good or better than Purdy

That's about the stupidest thing I've ever heard you say. That's like saying a 1 inch paint brush is the same as a 4 inch paint brush. Obviously, the more power you have, the faster you will clean and and achieve better results. The reason the little 100 psi pump machine recovered the same amount of water is that it took longer to spray it out, therefore taking longer to recover it. That's like saying all truck mounts are the same because they all are capable of 14 inches hg. The more air flow you have at a reasonable lift, the drier the carpets will be. The more pressure and flow you have, the cleaner the carpets will be, in the same time frame. Yes, there has to be a balance. Your pressure and flow is your agitation. The more you have, the better you clean. The more lift and CFM you have, the drier the carpets will be.

whatever, Ron
all the numbers CFM, inches of lift, or 22.7786% greater vac from vOOnderbar vac company ...yada, yada, yada don't mean sheeit

what matters is, how much you put down and how much of that did the squirt box recover
they're all pretty much the same

I don't think I'd hire you to paint my house. Iffn I had a house to paint that is. Take an awful long time with that little 1 inch brush.

We were using fan covers to draw cool air in the 80’s

Still guy waiting for the float to shut down and probably needed a sock to protect the vacs.

Cause we would pull them apart and replace fan blades.

They never did work as well.

Things were just as violent "back in the olden days". I remember how the RED / blue boards were. Idiots from across the country threatening to get on a plane and kick your ass over a prespray argument. Then there was the clown that called Mikey's wife to tattle on him for being an asshole. Literally called a guys's wife over a board issue. A few years latter some fruitcake was running ads on craigslist offering to clean your carpet NUDE for an extra $20 a room. Same area (RALEIGH, NC ) that Mikey's caller HAD MOVED to. Made me wonder if this board missed the bullet, we could have had a nude dude show up at MF.
