I almost got one when it was a 59 blower but with the switch to the 410 blower I had too many doubts as to it's ability to perform like my 6008 equipped
Vortex does.
I'm sure its a beast for single runs, more than enough suck and heat but I NEED to be able to run two 150 ft runs with out compromise.
To be honest I'm not even sure a 59 will satisfy me.
More than likely my next main rig will have two slide ins in the box. A 48 and a 45 with independent waste tanks.
unless Bob Savage can prove me wrong.
please bob...
Here's a short video showing dual wands using a single #45 blower. You'll notice the one wand is laying open on it's side when we hear the other wand's velocity.
This video demonstrates 2 separate 2" vacuum hose runs — one run at 135', the other run at 125', for a total of 260' of 2" vacuum hose from the truckmount. Note the loud rushing sound of air movement indicating more than enough vacuum to task each wand without having to block off one wand when not in use!

With 1.5" wands, right?[/quote:mvz11mtf]
Yes, Nate. The video shows two 1.5" wands. I use both those and the 2" wand. We always use 2" vacuum hose right to the wand, whether it is a 1.5", or 2" wand.
The 2" can wear a body out doing 4-5 jobs a day, day-in and day-out, so the 1.5's are sometimes a welcome relief.
The dual 2" wands work even better for dry times and better flushing, but the 1.5's still give great dry times with no customer complaints.
The video demonstrates that you get plenty of airflow to 2 separate wands using the 45 blower when set up for maximum vacuum. The 2" wand will also have virtually the same screaming vacuum as the 1.5".
Our setup by no means has the vacuum of a larger blower truckmount, but the 45 is more than enough to get great dry times dual wanding without needing that larger PD blower setup vacuum.
