The second I said it I regretted it.
My bank and not scrutinizing the situation led to me believe that a check had bounced.
They're very good customers who I usually spend more time talking with than doing that actual work so when I told her her check bounced she was shocked and had to tell me twice how much money is in that account
My bank actually sent a photo copy back of the photograph that I used for online deposit
Took a few phone calls to get the credit card ran with offers to bring me cash or send a check but it was her husband who realized that it was a wrinkle in the check from having spent the day in my shirt pocket that caused it to not clear
Wouldn't you think the app would tell you that right away if it can't read the account number?
If it ever happens again I will use the phrase "the check did not go through"
I guess "bounced" implies they wrote a check that they knowing wrote a check without the funds to back it up.
Remove that word from your vocabulary my fellow business relationship building friends...
