I was willing to take a chance on a blower with a very questionable maintenance/service history

You only know about the belt change history. Oil changes were every 500hrs.

I know it was blowing seals, the belts were always too tight, may have some shaft play, and the vent has been jerry rigged.

I was incorrect on the shaft play that I updated after the blower was pulled out. The oil seal blew and was immediately addressed due to the cap filters needing replaced and had no more problems after that was addressed

Jondon diagnosed the problem which wasn’t the blower. I would never sell someone a problem.

Hey, a spare is always good to have.. I try to have 2 of everything.. It's not if it breaks, it's when it breaks.. Glad you got it sold to recoup some costs..
