Bane Wand Flow questions

I got a guy using a bane set up with it's OEM 3 jet wand w/ 6 flow (11002 X's 2) and he wants to get a Chosen Wand which comes with a stock 4 low set up (9502)

Because the bane system relies on low pressure(he runs 180 psi) and high('er) flow, should I set his wand up with two 9503's?

All my truckmount guys love the Chosen's 4 flow as it gets the same results as 6 flow wands wit less water (faster drying!) and I only tweak the flow for small porty guys with 2 or 3 flow total...

Thoughts?

Tried to find the answer for you no google but after asking the exact same question 4 times and getting 3 different answer. I deleted the information. I can send you a standard spraying systems flow chart and the math to modify the psi if youd like. Or go with what Google tells you i asked " what's the flow rate of a 11002 vee-jet @ 180psi spraying water" when i add spraying water the answer was the same twice

What does Bain use as a blower for recovery. That would help to decide what to use. Never put down more than your unit can extract.

I would stick with the six flow. With the lack of pressure, he needs more flow to flush the carpet. I like the 4 flow but I am using 350-400 psi on the portable and 500 psi on the truck. I have an old portable with a 150 PSi pump and the 4 flow on it sucks.

I would use my truckmount Aw29
with slot glide with it and there was no difference. I used it as a porty, so there's that. Probably what Ron said.

I have to agree with staying with the 6 flow for flushing. I have a 200psi kleenrite small portable. I occasionally use it for highrise apartment carpets. I use the 4 flow if the carpets just need dusting. However, If they are soiled, I use 6 flow for better flushing action. I just take a couple extra dry strokes with the 6 flow.

Sutorbilt 3m...
But severely under driven

Spins at 1275 RPM max

They attempted to change the direct coupling to drive it at a higher RPM but it Just trips Breakers

We tried to run to blowers parallel and tripped breakers

Stick with 6 flow MAX

If not you will leave carpets wet for 24 hours

What a pita to lug the thing around like a porty even😏 When they say it was built like a tank, they meant it!

when my kids were little, I had a MegaCrap portable bane Clene unit collecting dust in my garage

They were watching the Telletubbies cartoon at the time and thought it was the NuNu character from the show

Wouldn’t surprise me if that defunct company sent a cease and desist to the Producers of the show

They trademarked everything and had their lawyers on speed dial

Buh Bye Bane ….

Son of a buc, it does look like a Bane🤣 Remember, if you #only
bought the Porty, you didn't qualify
to have the "Jimmy" perks, such as the logo on your truck😂😂 Oh no!!!

I just hate to see anybody in our industry go bye-bye.

Between 1988-1993 I bought 2 “truck mount” systems, a mega port and dry cleaning system

If the internet was around back then , I wouldn’t have purchased even a spotting bottle from that company
