Are Same Day customers ever normal?

The ones that never cease to amaze me are the ones that call at noon and say, "we are moving out today and need to get the carpet cleaned". I mean come on they knew they were moving before move out day. Worse still, " Can you come finish up our carpet cleaning ? My wife did most of it with her Bissel but some areas need a professional Job. " I always insist on cleaning the whole place if we do it.

I've been asked to just fix the streaks from the rugdoctor

dunno how many times they went over it, was 1 sodden foamy mess

I had a call this week from a customer moving up here from the big ATL. She had to have it done this week and she said that there was a natural fibered corduroy couch that needed cleaned. I think I cleaned that fabric only once and I can't remember if it was poly or natural. I don't like to clean something I'm not too familiar with and be in a hurry also.
Either way, she was too much in a hurry to wait till next week and she found someone else, which I'm kinda glad.

Job I did yesterday refered me to a close friend. He had a sick dog and the guy he used would come out same day and would tell him not to touch it and he would get there as soon as possible. They wer r so impressed by his story but he thought the guy wasn't around anymore.

Well I blew them away with my cleaning and that I WAS the cleaner their friend spoke about.

I would work him in between jobs or at the end of the day. He wasn't the only one I did this for.
