I still haven't tried Saigers Encaps because I'm very happy with the results I get with VacAway and Releasit

Now that the snow has melted and my phone is ringing again I might have to give Saigers a try


I would have used either VacAway Commercial Magic with Detonator (Peroxide) or DS2 and Punch on a job like that with a fiber pad on Phoenix first to scrub or my Whittaker Trio then a Microfiber Bonnet to extract

But Mark uses Saigers 2x with Oxy with a Microfiber Bonnet to scrub and then Cotton Bonnet to extract


LESS water MORE agitation !!!

I am happy with Saiger's code red of encap. I have tried other products and most work well but I prefer Saiger's over the others. I use some of Vacaways products for heavier grease areas. Commercial Magic or 357 works well. TOPS spotter is also a great product for grease marks, crayon, garbage drips or other greasy types soil.

I do mix in Tops as a spotter and have Damon's as well like War on Pee which is dang good.

Yes but for those jobs that have greasy areas wouldn't it just be easier just to use DS2 or Commercial Magic for the whole job

Both work great on grease and will take out coffee stains too

For jobs that don't have greasy areas like a Doctor's Office Saigers Oxy would work


Do you use Fiber Pads to scrub bad areas on CGD

Mark used a Microfiber to scrub but they don't scrub as good as a Fiber Pad. IMO


I used a Fiber Pad to scrub then Microfiber Bonnet to extract on that job with DS2 at 5oz

14 - NO long set ups dragging carrying vacuum solution hoses from van to house 300 ft - 400 ft of hose
15 - NO maintenance issues
16 - NO ridiculous priced TM
17 - NO ridiculous priced TM repairs
18 - NO ridiculous priced TM replacement parts
19 - NO worries of TM water pump or solution hose freezing on a job
20 - NO heaters needed at night to prevent TM freezing
21 - NO worries of TM breakdown on job or difficult repairs on job
22 - NO worries about wicking
23 - NO worries of dull dingy looking carpet after drying
24 - NO large lease or loan payments every month for TM
25 - NO low profits because of high business cost


Disadvantages for using the VLM Method

1 - It's slower on Medium and Heavily Soiled Carpet

DS2 don't do as well on coffee as Hydrox. When I have a church with a lot of coffee stains, that's my go to.
