Been very busy.. My Pasco County, FL location that has CRB's, Devestator Wands, and Hydroforce sprayers on every truck is up 15% for the year. (36.14% - May), (39.81% - June), (43.88% - through July 30th). Maintaining a 21.29% increase for the remainder of the year will put us about $1,200,000 in our Pasco County Branch which we opened November of 2011. July -September is generally our slow season but i'm glad to see the increased job count. I've also been making a big push with Commercial Air Duct Cleaning in the area which has kept me quite busy.

I'm this close------ to sending my son to Florida to work for CJ.

How long does it take to get use to that climate?
5 days or 6?
Would he get a helper?
Is there a bonus if he is requested?
What are the growth opportunities like within your devisions?

Is Davis feeling underpaid or that his future with your company isn't worth the sweat equity?

Mike I only met Davis once, at the stone class in Orange Beach. Seems like the sort of man who will do fine anywhere he lands. It will take him about as long to acclimate to Florida as it takes to not give a crap if he sweats. Really it is that simple. Embrace the heat and try to enjoy all that Florida offers; he’ll like it.

I agree. Davis is among those few young men I know that I'd adopt in a moment. He's made of great stuff, and a credit to you and Paula.

Make sure he understands the joy of cleaning carpet in heat and high humidity. He might find somewhere in the Rocky Mountain states more appealing if he has to move anyway.

Then there's culture shock too.... :eekk:

Culture shock reminds me of my move from Tennessee to Utah.

and I'm not certain but I think the whole shrimp and grits thing was created as a "quaint" dish for people who know **** all about southern food.

I spent most of my life in the lowcountry of SC and the only places I saw it growing up were tourist restaurants and places in the new ohio/bluffton/hhi area....then cooking shows as an adult
