And i know this will piss off some young libs, but Obama ain't gonan do nothing for you, you will still be in a shithole in four years, probably deeper in taxes....of course neither will McCain....

Overpromise Underdeliver

I think we're all used to that. Hopefully more people will have jobs and will make my phone ring a little more. Offset the extra taxes. I put my money on the black puppet.

Only thing I'm hearing in this long post is how crappy Obama is. Yet I don't hear what McCain's got going on for us.

Greenie,

Ignorance huh. Funny you say that thinking Obama was voted in because hes black. I think Hillary made obviously some very tactical mistakes in helping her lose. One, underestimating Obama. And, two, the whole inevitability that I am entitled to the nomination' ended up hurting her quite dramatically. Then she started doing what McCain was doing, attacking Obama and that drove her numbers down, like McCain. Barack was elevated, sort of above it all and he handled himself as such. Hillary talked a lot about Bush too, during the debates and speeches. Barack talked more about McCain and Romney. As such he offered Democrats a preview of how he’ll be able to take on repulicans. So you are smoking something if you think he won cause he's black, get real people.

I mentioned out of the 2 we have to choose from I think Obama will do better. Is he the saviour, I doubt it, but McCain sure isnt....

It is unfortunate that it will be guys like you who end up hurting the most if Oblabba wins.

I thought I would never vote for John McCain until Obama won the nomination. So I am going to vote for the only Democrat in the race............John McCain.

There are plenty of things to cut and paste against each candidate and every politician but when asked a question what YOU think oops I am guessing we got our answer. Next time you should just say "I can't"

I could probably come up with 3 policies Bush has had that helped destroy this country. I can think of many more ideas that were squashed in the house that would have protected us

You say
He says country first but leaves an horribly inexperienced VP in charge if something happens to him
What about oblabbas experience?

Do you love kids? What do you think of full term abortions?

WOW. full term abortion? I'm not touching that.
But I do remember when Clinton left office and Gore won, the country wasn't totally F* up

I'll Vote for Albert Lazo

I think we probably have a few similar views between the candidates. In my hopes of hope, if Obama wins, that the leftist America will be so excited about the free job, free money, free healthcare that they will spend and we can have the "New Clinton Years"

It is just too risky for me to vote Obama. Fear has gripped me beside my wife and I have to cancel each other out.

Beside other very good reasons, Obama probably won because the majority would rather have a man, though black, as a president then a woman.

And now that the sexism scare option is over, they may be able to re-connect with their fear of the scary racist option.

Isn't life swell?

No, none of them is perfect.
Yes, they all promise more then they can deliver.
Absolutely, the system in both parties is rigged to serve better the well connected and power lobbies- no doubt about it.

So call your congressman or women and ask them to vote for changing the way election campaigns are funded.
But when public financing is suggested people refuse and call it communism and then they complain about the power of special interest.

At the end we all vote with our conscience. I do not think that the Republicans and John McCain are bad people. I do not think they mean bad for the country. I am sure they are very well intentioned people (I can not say that about Bush.)
I just like obama better and think the country will do better with him as a president.

One thing for sure- Time will tell.

You really should watch the news occasionally, well I mean besides MSNBCbama. And I don't really get the Barrack was elevated thing as if he hasn't attacked McCain every chance he's had unfortunatly for him he just doesn't have as much ammunition to use against McCain because McCain does not associate with known terrorists and felons.

He says country first but leaves an horribly inexperienced VP in charge if something happens to him. That's not putting country first.

Please enlighten us with all your historical knowledge and understanding of the financial markets and the creation of jobs. SPECIFICALLY, what do you see as the top 3 Bush policies that caused the problems we have today.

Inexperienced VP? OK Please enlighten me to what Obama has accomplished or even attempted that makes him more qualified than Palin? Just curious. I mean you have it all figured out so please clue me in. If you want some one new Vote McCain and just wait a little while. I mean he is in his 70's.

I am sorry I must not have been clear. I did not ask about his foreign policy blunders I asked about his ECONOMIC plans. I can see how it was unclear as you were nonspecific about Which ground we were run into. I made the mistake of assuming you were refering to the economy since foreign policy is more about perception and perspective. Note the part I refered to financial markets and job creation. Sorry for the confusion. I could go line by line and respond to each and every quote but I really lack the motivation as I think it would fall on blind eyes. There is an old saying, something like, anyone that is under 25 and is not a liberal has no heart, and anyone that is over 25 and IS a liberal has no brain.

With all the cut and paste (that actually has nothing to do with this debate) I seem to have missed the part where you addressed how Obama is more qualified than Palin. If you could repost that part or highlight it for me I would appreciate it.

I'm sure a couple of those quotes might lead to some bad policies. Do I need to draw a picture or write it out in crayon DUMBASS?

No. Simple answering the original question in a thousands words (OF YOUR OWN) would suffice.

Just stating the facts on what aided hillary in losing. Obama has rised above by not running a dirty campaign, unlike hillary and mccain. He does fire off counter attacks. Which is just.

McCain sat on the board of the extremist “U.S. Council for World Freedom” an ultra-conservative right wing organization which was affiliated with the “World Anti-communist League” which the Anti-Defamation League said “has increasingly become a gathering place, a forum, a point of contact for extremists, racists and anti-semites”
So playing the childish Palin “guilt by association” game, McCain was palling around with racists and anti-semites back in the 1980s.

Of course the Keating Five were five United States Senators accused of corruption in 1989, igniting a major political scandal as part of the larger Savings and Loan crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s. The five senators one being mccain.

What about witch hunter Rev. Thomas Muthee praying over Sarah Palin.

http://olbermann.org/ko/video_detail.cfm?id=9858 has more info too.

#3) false
#4) matter of opinion
#5) False again
#6) COMPLETELY false (do your research from somewhere other than moveon.org
#7) Again Not accurate
#8) So what?

Now that you have listed the talking points for moveon.org maybe you could answer my question as to how Barrack's credentials are any better?

Are you really this obtuse or are you just playing liberal?

1. Who cares...do you have to be a jet setter and travel the world to be VP?? sorry but she was busy with kids, family and her smaller public service jobs...

2. here again, didnt realize you had to be chumy with the world leaders to be VP...of course this could be a good thing because she/they have no past/prior issues with each other, so maybe just maybe they can have a civil conversation...

3. not her choice...as was discussed earlier, other people run these things...personaly they should have let her speak, because it has been a distraction

4. this abusal of powers is weak to me...yea it was family related, but guess what?? maybe she saw something in being so close to the situation that she didnt like about the position he was in...sounds to me she used here power/position to make a good choice...

5. havent heard/read enough about it so no comment

6. ohhh strike one...and i am sure there is more to this story as well...she made them??? or did the hospital make them???? hummmmmm

7. if i read right most of this money was given back or used else where, and while she wanted it to begin with, she changed her mind....OMG not someone who changes their mind!!!!!!! do you want chicken or fish??? chicken.....noooo wait fish sounds good......AHHHHHH YOU CANT RUN FOR OFFICE YOU FLIP FLOPPER!!!!!!!!!

8. AGAIN WHO CARES!!!!! maybe a fresh face will improve it...

Don't try that shit with me. The fact that that is the first defense to your position says you don't have a real answer.

Will someone please show this guy how to do quotes?

Olberman.org????   You can't be serious?

Are you saying that McCain is anti-communist? Heaven forbid.

Before you take something from Olberman at face value you really should research it just a bit.

The WACL also enjoyed support from both the Carter and Reagan administrations in the United States, particularly with regard to its role in Central America,[2] and many US Congressmen, most notably 2008 presidential nominee Senator John McCain (R-AZ), [3][4] who sat on the USCWF Board of Directors in the early 1980s. [5][6] , McCain has said previously he resigned from the council in 1984 and asked in 1986 to have his name removed from the group's letterhead. [7]

As far as the "anti-defamation leagues" statement that the wacl "“has increasingly become a gathering place, a forum, a point of contact for extremists, racists and anti-semites”. I don't really know much about the wacl but I did just earnestly try to find evidence that they infact are a racist organization and I couldn't find anything other than this one statement by the anti-defamation league with nothing to back it up. If you have evidence please enlighten me because a political lobbying organization calling them racist is not evidence in itself. Not to mention you can't blame McCain if they did become that way after he left or if he left because of that. Obama was associated with a terrorist well after he was a known terrorist.

By the way the whole Palin made rape victems pay for their rape kits is a farce. The police department billed the victims insurance company if they had insurance. There is no evidence of anyone being refused the rape kit because of lack of payment or lack of insurance.

You may not like Palins decisions, if you actually knew what they were, but you can not find one decision Obama has ever made. He has 0 executive experience anywhere ever.

He fought to leave babies who survived late term abortions to be left alone in a room to die by themselves. That is the biggest fight he ever put on in his life. Chose his battled I guess.

Quote from Obama
“I’ve got two daughters; 9 years old and 6 years old,” Obama said. “I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby."

William Ayers then:

In 1969 he cofounded the radical left organization the Weather Underground, which conducted a campaign of bombing public buildings during the 1960s and 1970s.

William Ayers today:

Ayers is currently a Distinguished Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Education. His interests include teaching for social justice, urban educational reform, narrative and interpretive research, children in trouble with the law, and related issues.[35]

He began his career in primary education while an undergraduate, teaching at the Children’s Community School (CCS), a project founded by a group of students and based on the Summerhill method of education. After leaving the underground, he earned an M.Ed from Bank Street College in Early Childhood Education (1984), an M.Ed from Teachers College, Columbia University in Early Childhood Education (1987) and an Ed.D from Teachers College, Columbia University in Curriculum and Instruction

Ayers worked with Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley in shaping the city's school reform program and was one of three co-authors of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge grant proposal that in 1995 won $49.2 million over five years for public school reform.

*In 1997 Chicago awarded him its Citizen of the Year award for his work on the project.*

Since 1999 he has served on the board of directors of the Woods Fund of Chicago, an anti-poverty, philanthropic foundation established as the Woods Charitable Fund in 1941.

***According to Ayers, his radical past occasionally affects him, as when, by his account, he was asked not to attend a progressive educators' conference in the fall of 2006 on the basis that the organizers did not want to risk an association with his past.***

William Ayers in the later years had the same interest as Obama, to help and educate. I guess once a terroist always a terroist huh, even if he strives to make things better for different groups and *does*. Shame on him.
