Here in NM the economy is bad it seems on the low end it's drug dealers and hookers that have the cash, higher end customers are waiting a lot longer to get it cleaned.

Well, it's evident what the people in your community are spending their money on.

Thanks Steve,
And I know you are not promoting it because you make any money off it. You've earned your credit and trust here a long time ago.

Albuquerque has probably 300 carpet cleaners, I see new vans- companies everyday, apt complexes are down to a starting price of 35.00 for a 1 bed room a 3 br will get ya 60-65.

Its not been bad with out lance, I do hate the pre vac and grooming, much more cash in my pocket.

Hey, Ron. I honestly think the deal of the day cleaners are taking a big bite out of the ABQ residential market and contribute to customer erosion. Potential repeats have the chance to try someone else for next to nothing. There is one company I know of that sells 800 or so of them a year. Their entire business is based around it. Factor in an effective referral program and market share is being taken.

I have been building a "Stay Beautiful" route for a few years now. It's a great concept if you have a really good personality. Personally, I get tired of having to be nice to the same people ever six months.

But ... I manage ...

Hell just think about them, they have to see you twice as much as before. You should re-name your program "Here comes ugly...again!" :icon_razz:

I'm honored... and more than a little bit surprised.

Steve

PS Once again, the Stay Beautiful concept alone is not going to save any business. BUT a fair percentage of your clients will love this option and be "stuck" to you forever. So what's the harm in that? (We were not a huge company but every month- even with 3 feet of snow on the ground in February when residential was DEAD- around 6,000 bucks magically appeared in my checking account and that helped a LOT with making payroll, getting Papa Nick paid off, etc!)

Over 1000 sold of our variation since 2009. 80% of the 2009 customers are still in the program (perpetual)

Wonder if Greg is doing the automatic monthly payment or if he sets up the next appointment automaticly and gives a discount or price freeze?

Personally, I wouldn't do it unless it unless you get paid by auto bank draft or credit card.

Of course, I am certain Cole ain't stupid, so I bet he's going this.

It would be interesting to learn how a lower price focused business could make a go of a Stay Beautiful program ... it would seem a discount of some sort would be in order for monthly paymets and regularly scheduled work.

So, tell us what you feel comfortable sharing, Greg.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's a Berber program and at the "Drycleaning" rates it's easily discountable. :icon_razz:

Sorry the debil made me do it. :pig:

I will discuss the details of the variation of it at MF only. I showed Steve the program when I re-took SFS in 2009. i tailored it specifically to our type of business. It's a pain in the butt to sell but when sold is solid gold! Thank you Stev for the inspriation!
Regarding payment: We only take re-occuring cc payments. We have a portal though the cc company that automatically hit the credit cards on the 1st of the month.

Can mikey shoot a video for us supportive members?

We are actually set up pretty good for this but i am concerned how much it is going to cost in advertising to reach 1000 customers.
and all the details you already know.
