a job description.
20 years with a "do this then do that" job description is not cutting it anymore.

Job description for what? Tech?

There is a difference between a job descpotion and systems/procedures (which are step by step instructions on how to execute).

What specifically is he issue or what is "not cutting" it anymore.

Sounds like it could be a training or management issue. You can't expect that just because you put it in writing and someone read it that they will do it. Even if they signed off on it and/or verbally told you they understand and could comply.

@knoxclean These look like they are job postings. Is this what you use when you are posting for a position to fill?

Postings are different from job descriptions.....

@Ron K Are you look for a posting/ad for job available, job description, performance review tool or procedures for a specific position in your company?

They are all different and distinct things.

You can do the free download to see if its worth it for you.

They are job descriptions Meg . We make it clear what their goals and objectives are after they are hired so they know what is expected of them. There is also an employee handbook that takes them through and of the fine details of the job and all the policies and procedures.

Got it...I think I was thrown off by the fact you included the pay rate in there. I can see where that would be individualized for each employee an the rest of the info would be universal expectations for that position. Thanks!
