So last year I had 25 plus reviews showing in NV and was paying $300 a month and got 21 jobs from them by June 4th

This year I have 5 reviews showing and pay nothing, and have 22 jobs completed so far....

Now on the other hand Santa Cruz went from 5 star to 4.5 and but still the highest at 65ish showing.


but.


we went from 100 completed down to 50 this year.

half a star means a lot.




time to cancel the $300 I'm paying there.

I only paid for Yelp once, for 4 months. Had some inquiries but no jobs. I don't pay now and usually get 4-5 jobs per month.

When yelp recently filtered one of my very good hard-earned reviews, I ran my algorithm and it said to stop giving yelp money.

people talk, gotta love repeats & referrals. The beauty of being an old timer in your community, no need to advertise at all. Would hate to be just getting into this industry today.
