I'm pretty sure my 2007 is over.

I did 3 nice jobs yesterday, have no work planned until after the new year.

So....

I did 593 jobs in 2007.

3.1% of my sales came from Commercial sales
95% of my sales came from Residential sales

The rest is made up from Tips, Mics charges such as billing charges for return check fees.

Cleaning over half a million sq ft mixed between my 10 com jobs and my res work.

148 pieces of upholstery.

What about $$ amounts in true #'s and the percent increase over last year. I know some have red board #'s but some are just mid level like me the BDCC extraordinaire. I am curious how much the average consciences Owner operator does in average year. I went from 40 to a little over 67 this year, gross. I know its not big numbers but I have been here almost 2 years with little advertising. Anyone care to share without putting down anyone else?

Thanks everyone for all the help you have given me and the entertainment.

And for 2008 I think we should all get hair cuts like Luddy.

Over $10,000.00 part-time! :D
Would be more, but 9 out of 12 months I have been working 6 days a week, 56 hours in a machine shop!
So I'm happy with this!

Happy New Years !

I think my sales will be up by about 20+ percent. I haven't even cared to run my numbers, enjoying my week off.

Had to relay some carpet on a water loss today, so annoying.

My first year in business I did over 60+ grand gross which includes what I did in installations, I don't have the figures in front of me. However I still don't make nothing at 60 grand. I think I paid out half of that in wages and the rest went to bills and over head. Now keep in mind 30 grand gross before tax is all I've been living off of since I'm a sole income. I don't see how you guys had made it in the past at 40 grand total income. I plan to do at least 70 grand next year if the economy don't crap out even worse than this year, due to me increasing prices.

I used Becker's spread sheet, and think its cool.

224 residential jobs

26 commercial jobs

54.4% of sales came from commercial.

45.6% of sales came from residential (carpet/uph).

I can not match that vacation time, but I feel you you need to give yourself time off!

I won't go into detail on my gets aways with respect to Waldo, but I will say the short list is Vegas 4 times, HI for a week, CA twice.

I was pretty happy with my balance of work and time off for 07, Hope to pad it for 08.

497 jobs
$281 job average
The money from area rugs is factored in but not in the job count so my average job is actually lower
Upgraded all equipment and did killer in upholstery my #1 add on and very close to my carpet cleaning in $ earned. First year full time and didn't hit my $150,000 target but have booked a lot of jobs for January.

O owe it to most everyone on the BB here especially Ken Snow. I also learned not to be a di k to a good guy like Becker and again have to apologize to him. I should carry myself much more Ken Snowish like a normal human being

ok lets see....mind you this is not all carpet cleaning, i do so many other things..this is total

100 invoices for the year...nice even number (and some invoices have multiple billings for the companies) $618.74 avg so 61,873.87

06 I was at $43,000

05 & 04 i was in the 80s

03 was 60s

I went up from a major retailer i was doing floors for...then the damned Maintenance Management companies screwed that up :x :x :x so thats why i dropped...So i figure not a bad rebound
