Xactimate and I-Pad?

I have Xm8 25...........very easy to use. I wanted to upgrade to 27 so I can use it with an IPAD.
I heard XM8 27 has some bugs that are aggravating.

Anyone using this combo? If so,does it make estimating that much quicker?

I would not want to run xactimate on anything less than a laptop. I am not even sure how it would work on an i pad, yeah I am sure you could get it to work but it would be a PITA I think.
