You know those annoying computer generated posts/comments that your blog(should be) gets?

Do I leave them up to help with SEO or toss em?

Toss them.

If you want comments on your own blog you can make them yourself. Most of the spam comments go to websites you do not want to be linked to. One of the ways Google rates a Blog is how well you control spam in your comments.

Google will not knock down your rating for ugly sites linking to you but anything going from your site to a Bad site will be held against you because you can control it. --Control is a wonderful thing isn't it Mikey?--- You are rated by the companies that keep (you link to).

You can make comments and link them to this forum, any of your friends websites. You only want your links going to family friendly websites. I have over thirty sites you can link to anytime you want---lol---

Delete all comments that you do not know are going to safe websites. You can put a Captcha in there so it has to be a human to even leave a comment. Turn on Akismet from Wordpress and most of the automated spam will be eliminated.

I can't get you to a pr 6 but I have hundreds of Keywords that I am in the top three.

It is pretty simple. Links from high ranking sites and lots of links with the keyword you want in the anchor text.

You can be a split personality. On your blog sign out.

Come back into the blog and make a comment. Send it to a good neighborhood like one of your friends that has a website.

I have about 30 different personalities---names---

If you have a friend in Indy with a website Name yourself --Indy Carpet--- or something and leave a relevant comment on your blog.

Google likes active blogs. Go in every couple of days and add another sentence to a couple of pages. Change a few pages every few days. Make a couple of comment posts. Even if you are making them. Your blog will look busier.

Make sure your ping list is huge. Don't know what a ping list is?

Copy and paste this list into your website--you do not need to worry these are all ping services. They want to be notified every time you add to your blog.

Log in to your wordpress site.
click on Settings, then Writing. At the bottom of the page paste these in. Remember to save before leaving the page....

If you want to do your own website work Wordpress is definitely one of the best. Very simple and there is a huge community of developers and users.

Building pages is not much different than putting a comment up on this blog.

I just took a picture to post up here to show how really simple building a page in Wordpress can be. If you notice the options lines across the top of the window look a lot like the options on the top of the window you post in on MB.

Yes Wordpress is one of the best platforms for SEO. The very simple category and tag system builds and modifies a lot of pages from every page you make. The pages it makes are not duplicate and the website automatically pings your updates when you do them.

Also if you put every page in a Category or two you have built a sitemap the easy way for your readers.

Most people like to work in the platform they are used to. A lot of website developers learned on something different like Microsoft publisher or Dreamweaver. These are very powerful programs but the SEO must be done afterwards.

Wordpress has built in SEO that is very effective.

Wordpress is one of the easiest for non programmers to understand and use.

I love Wordpress.
Much like creating a post or thread on MB.
No reason all of you to not have a WP blog on your sites.
