For those of you who have forgotten more than the rest of us know (you know who you are!) what books would you recommend for us wannabes? Is Aaron Groseclose's book worth the amazing price? Any other tips for our self-education? Any periodicals or other tools you use to stay on the cutting edge of rug whisperdom?

I'd suggest you checkout some marketing books, technical books are great but if you have no rugs to demonstrate your prowess on.......you won't be around long.

Work on being the rainmaker, you already know enough about rug cleaning for now. :winky:

Tom - that looks like quite a classic! Written in 1930? Not easy to lay your hands on that.

Are you talking cleaning or rug info?

Rug info for the relatively lost rug cleaner. I can clean them pretty well, if not quickly, but I'll be darned if I know what I'm looking at most of the time!
