Why do manufacturers continue to sell odor products that don't work?

Can Odorcide be used with an oxidizing product like OSR? How many ounces of Odorcide per gallon of water? Is it a flood and claw type of product?

No Keefer, my friend, that would be profitable.

Look close at the picture, do you think it is acceptable to leave that much product(chemical) on the carpet? I bet if Werner vacuumed it he could clean for a month with what was left behind..

I've used it like that, if your going through all the pain in the butt of osr, can't hurt to add some good smelling stuff.

Not much, odorcide is very strong.

Pretty much you can do whatever you want w/it.

If what I am seeing is an absorbent powder for the odor, then you have to leave quite a bit behind... to be vacuumed out later. Certainly not how I would approach a pet odor problem. The carpet in the photo still smells? Is this a carpet that you have worked on and then the other guy, or just him?

The carpet doesn't smell because he has the AC at 70 degrees.. Not sure what smells at that temp(road kill ,maybe?).. No the carpet in the pic. doesn't smell, because it has been in 70 degree AC no moisture..

A urine laden carpet will still smell at 70 w/ac on. My guess is that powder is OSR that has had the water evaporate out. I do a ton of subsurface per urine restoration. It works. Who cares if its wet for a couple days, the dog pissed on it too...

Maybe that's why....maybe not.

Probably not what you want to hear, but maybe he did a very good job, and was successful in removing the source of the odor.
Maybe the AC is just a precaution to help dry the place out as opposed to sealing the unit up without ventilation, and everything will smell fine.
You have never left an AC on to help dry out an empty unit??
I know I have.
Either way, he does guarantee his work, so even if there is still an issue, he will attempt to address it.
8 trucks......I think this guy may know a little more than you think.

Your starting to sound like you have a major BONER for this dude.

:eekk: Only improves my service.. The AC being on WILL decrease the moisture in the unit and I used to drop the temp till a got a notice that I can do it while cleaning, but when I leave it MUST be left at 85 degrees. He has had it on for 2 weeks now.. Wait till they get that bill!

He says NO matter how much urine is in a unit, I wonder how he would have handled this one (my new house)?
