The carpet doesn't smell because he has the AC at 70 degrees..
Maybe that's why....maybe not.
Probably not what you want to hear, but maybe he did a very good job, and was successful in removing the source of the odor.
Maybe the AC is just a precaution to help dry the place out as opposed to sealing the unit up without ventilation, and everything will smell fine.
You have never left an AC on to help dry out an empty unit??

Either way, he does guarantee his work, so even if there is still an issue, he will attempt to address it.
