Having trouble removing all the discoloration from white limestone directly on the ocean, tried poultice with 40 clear, tried wet sanding than scrubbing with acid which removed 80 percent but of course these folks would like 100 percent removed...any other suggestions?/ thx

If I recall from my hard surface class, people are dumb and and insist on installing a limestone or marble tile in their bathrooms and kitchens. Some stains will penetrate all the way through the tile. IT needs to be constantly resealed and cleaned to be maintained property. Very high maintenance. It sounds like you did all you could do. Maybe the only other thing is to do the poultice again after you sanded it. You may get a little deeper penetration.

It's LIMESTONE, which is the foundation for Portland cement, mind you.

It's honed (ultra porous) and outside on the coast, by a pool. :eekk:

you've done all you can do. Ground water will continue to leach up and have it's say no matter what.
Sealing that surface with a penetrative will do nothing but make you richer.
