If only the Shark was better constructed… it’s a handy and lightweight vac, they just don’t hold up.

Dust downer for the win...
I have external jet crevice tool if interested.
Move the trigger higher up a stainless bend tube.
Velcro a 4 foot Long broomhandle to tube.
Run around fast agitate.
Reattach broom with brush back on stainless tube.
Spray an go...
Crevice tools need a major revamp.
There's Long ones an short ones.
But no truly innovative version in decades...
Green glide makes brush glide.
Make a crevice Teflon brush glide...

IMHO ALL carpet needs edging. I use a Prochem Upholstery tool. Yep, every room, every job

Once your on your hands and knees, you can really see the dirt.
at what point in your whole process are you crawling around the house with the PC tool?
Do you wear knee pads?

the ladies most love that you do this

I just shove a hose extention from my upright in the vac while I'm cleaning and go around the room while im cleaning the room. More suck than an upright or canister and a lot faster.
