My new guy just backed into the drivers door of a parked car, his own car! My bumper is fine, his ego is dented.

I clonked a pole and partly buckled the rear bumper, a steel c-beam. The elves could not have been happier, the stinkers.

So I wrapped a chain around a tree and hooked it to the crinkle, then tugged it back out.

One chain hooked up to a dozer as an anchor, the other to my one ton van = frame rack.

In California they get 3 paid days off for the pole running into their bumper.
LOL.
Always waiting for Joe's brief, pointed remarks.
Surely he'd post more, had he not been too busy hiring new people all the time. Mike, why don't you double Joe's salary?

I figure if every one forgets about your birthday, it doesn't count.
I wish.
Birthdays, Father's day, Christmas, I really don't like getting gifts. I enjoy giving them but never receiving them.

I would go with
2. You tell them to be more careful in the future and move on.
Mistakes have to happen and we need to be understanding of them. It is part of our cost to cover our staff mistakes if can't file an insurance claim. He will definitely pay more attention in the future. I don't think that firing him or making him pay for it is the right way to go.
