After a lot of testing and dissecting and tweaking we've gotten to the point of me handing the tool back to Westpac and say let's run with it.

The all titanium head will have a very large view window on the front and a inch and a quarter internal hose setup in 10, 15 and 20 ft options

The 01 single jet sits in its own spray chamber that offers amazing over spray control allowing you to clean microfibers and other flat weaves in the very tidy way

The Glide is easily removed if you want to detail staircases and not fret about damage that the tactless will do to your soft Teflon accessory.

There will be a optional and removable heat creating circulating system that will fix to the other end of the hideAhose for those that feel they need full truck mount heat when cleaning upholstery.

I call the Glide an "accessory" because the hand tool also works very well without the Glide when needed such as when doing detail work or very rough sturdy fabrics..

It's extremely comfortable to use due to its angle and lightweight and the flexibility of the swivelized hose

Mr Pemberton used it on a few pieces over the past few days and I'll let him comment on his findings

I'll be with the Westpac team next week where we'll go over some of the details and we may see this fun to use, long needed, versatile tool in production within the next 2 months, hopefully.

I'm not interested in any more suggestions. It's been through the gamut with various veteran specialists has passed muster.

Cost is yet to be determined but my goal is to make it a great value just like the rest of my tools.

In regards to the new GreenGlides Upholstery Tool..

I call the Glide an "accessory" because the hand tool also works very well without it when needed such as when doing detail/crevice work, narrow areas or very rough sturdy fabrics..

It's extremely comfortable to use due to its operating angle and lightweight head along with the flexibility of the swivelized hose set up

Mr Pemberton used it on a few pieces over the past few days and I'll let him comment on his findings

It is no secret that I'm a "Dry Tool Guy". That said, I've missed the Prochem Truck Mount Upholstery Tool for some of its versatility as a stair tool, and its effectiveness in flushing out heavily embedded oils in synthetic fiber fabrics. Mike's tool (whatever he will call it) impressed me for the following reasons: 1. Ease of use: The very flexible, 1.25" vacuum hose was so lightweight I almost didn't know it was there, and, coupled with the swivel cuff, left nearly no restrictions of movement. The stainless steel head as comfortable as the Prochem tool, but I would like to get a feel for how a lighter titanium tool would handle. 2. Lack of overspray: One of the reasons I like dry tools is that you don't get alot of overspray on adjoining areas of the fabric, or at the end of the stroke. The containing shield eliminates of the overspray, depending on the pressure you're using. You do see a little overspray at 500 psi, little or none at 200 (depending on the fabric). The glide adds a great deal to the easy use of the tool as well. Due to the spray shield, there are a few challenges in getting the tool into tight areas, but these issues become almost none existent if you remove the glide, which is easy to do. I'm glad that there will be a "window" on the tool. Due to the enclosed tool design, and the way it controls overspray, you wouldn't know how wet you are getting the fabric otherwise. I forgot that I left my machine on 500 psi, and didn't realize it until I tried to do a "mist and vac", and it ended up being a "firehose and vac"!
🤣
But I like that a lot better than hosing down end tables, floors, walls, and my pantlegs. This is the perfect upholstery cleaning tool for synthetic fiber fabrics, or if great care, pressure adjustment, and drying protocols are used, durable natural fiber fabrics.
