If it takes two hands, does that mean it is handmade? The tags often say "handmade."

Like your jeans are hand-sewn because it took a person to feed the fabric through the sewing machine, eh? The rug world has used little marketing lies from the beginning of weaving, so "a hand involved = hand-made" is one of the lesser fouls.


They have computer controlled custom tufting machines to make one of a kind versions of 'hand-tufted' rugs. Wonder what they call those.
