Noticed this after a job today, any idea what's going on? The circle thing(on right) is the HX, looks like the brass tube leaking is going to cat pump. It also looks like the brass piece is discolored/burnt?

Something must be low on oil if it's leaking, right? Where would I check?

Why would I have oil on the frame rail???

Can I still use the machine? Will I do more damage using it? Can I just tighten the brass piece and avoid 5 hours at disty?

It looks like the oil was flung off the rotating shaft (?) I see deeper in the pic behind the brass fitting in the foreground. The fitting is probably fine, it is just catching some of the juices. Is there a grease fitting in there somewhere? Maybe a bearing flinging off a bit of grease?

Thank's Chris.

I checked the rotating shaft thing no oil on it or around it, and actually that brass hose is a water hose...:hopeless: going to cat pump.

Can't find any oil leaks, anywhere... Everything above this area is clean. Guess I'm good to go.

Looks like something got hot. Clean it all up, and watch for "new". Could of just been a snickers wrapper landed there lol.

I agree with Kevin, clean it up and check the rate at which it accumulates again. Again just clean and watch it job by job.

Just make sure you are not loosing pump oil or motor oil.

Thanks guys...

Mr Bruders actually emailed(thanks again) me and thought it was an exhaust leak. Apparently some water/foam got in the blower(idiot) and blew all over everything.

Cleaned it up, only time will tell, but I think Bill was correct(thank god!).
