I've used in years past when I was lowball $40 dollar apt hack

it kicks azz mixed at 8 to 1.
bring your defoamer

Don't have a clue about resoil issues.
I didn't give a squat about that at the prices i was charging then.
Nor did the prop managers I was doing biz with at the time

my "guess" is, the resoil issue isn't as bad or worse than many of the "proffessional" chems on the market today.
It also depends a lot on how well/thorough the flush/rinse extract is

we'd probably use it today in some of the rat holes we see,
but none of us can stand the smell of it

19-20 years ago, I got hired as an inspector by a carpet retailer to check out a color change problem his client was having with her new carpets. A 2 year old Beige color nylon carpet in living and dining room, 490 sq ft, getting greenish hue spots even under the furniture. I found about 35-40 greenish spots none larger than 3 inches in diameter in these 2 areas. It was my first run in with what we all know today as "Simple Green" in the early days it was sold through auto parts stores and the husband restored old cars.

Its a degreaser but I found it foamed too much and I didn't like the black licorice smell.
