The Suns UV increases that 3-4% substantially! Even in the PNW.

Well day 2 of ARCS intermediate rug cleaning done.... we learned about finishing processes, post spoting techniques and chemistry, and discolouration remediation.... a very good 2 days....
Tomorrow, Rug Summit 12 starts.... so glad I signed up for this week in Denver....

35% is regularly used here as a fine mist onto dry rugs to "blend" and remove urine/organic staining. Not much 3-4% being used

35% seems awfully strong. 40 volume being about 12% or so.

Jordan is correct. I almost fell over yesterday when they were misting on 35%..... they do rinse it out, it is used to help to avoid a halo....

Jordan is correct. I almost fell over yesterday when they were misting on 35%..... they do rinse it out, it is used to help to avoid a halo....

I am sure 35% works fast. Extremely dangerous product though. Are they taking eye, skin and inhalation precautions?

Oh, I wanted to say that Robert Mann’s facility is top notch. He’s been selling/cleaning/fixing/ appraising rugs for 45 years, and it shows. It’s very hard to explain how awesome his operation really is....

I don't understand grooming a rug when it's hanging. Groom it on the floor before you hang it.

They do groom while on the floor. After they hang it, it’s lighty misted with citric acid, then lightly brushed in... the steps these guys take to clean a rug is mind boggling..... I KNOW after watching their process from start to finish, I’ve been doing it wrong....

No, but Robert told us the story..... this building is basically brand new inside and out now... the coating on his wash floor alone was 45k..... it’s rug washing perfection..... his tack out floor is 30’ by 80’, and he’s got multiple Big Ass fans everywhere..... they are so big, they look like helicopter rotors hanging from the ceiling......

I'm curious about the HP I use 6% 12% and 20% regularly, are they using the 35% pre clean or post clean on stains?
