outside air temp - 71

incoming water temp - 68

220k BTU propane heater dial set - 245

012 quad jetted wand open to air, candy thermometer with 302 degree rating - 180 degrees at the jet (measured each jet)

didn't measure my 08 jetted PMF since my coupler started coming apart and machine vibration was too bad to continue

55 degrees outside air temp

heater set at 245 degrees

04 jets on dual jet wand - 162 degrees at glide

03 jets on quad jet 174


turned heater down to 175

04 jets - 138

03 jets - 145


so i surmise that more flow with smaller jets will give me a little more heat at the carpet, yore results may vary depending if yore TM is a POS!!!LOL

How do you get less flow out of larger jets ?

Of course with you anything is possible but 4 04's = 16
vs
4 03's = 12

Did you measure the flow with each set up ?
