Hi guys,

Hope everybody's making money today.

I have a client who has a pressed concrete outside garage area which has white stain on it now after winter...

The client believes the problem comes from the limestone on his house, lime perhaps coming off with the moisture running over it in the spring melting of snow...

The builder of this relatively new house is responsible, it is supposed to be "sealed" or protected--well, this will put the protectant to the test... the builder is reportedly flummoxed as to what to do.

Has anybody ran into this before?

Have a great week! :D

Richard is correct....

The contractor did not do the proper moisture readings on the concrete.....PRIOR..
to applying the sealer... 48 hrs is usually REQUIRED....was it sealed the Next day :?:

Moisture gets trapped between the substrate & the sealer.....if the substrate is not
properly CURED...

Click on the slideshow at the bottom of the page...PHOTO GALLERY......

Scroll to the PAVER section.......This is the same problem that occured to the pool pavers!!!

The BEST process that works on this problem is to Soda-Blast...
This will strip original sealer with the least amount of DAMAGE...Then seal PROPERLY....
