Orbot with SHOWER FEED like a CIMEX

What would you say about an Orbot that has a shower feed system similar to the system on an Cimex ??

Naturally, this is to be used only in conjunction with pads, NOT bonnets.

Not only that, but it also has a stainless steel base, (NOT ALUMINUM), that will not be affected by corrosive liquids.

Pipe dream??

I saw those units as they were being built a while back when I stopped by HOS. I liked they way they are designed! I took some pictures but it was too early to be published. Jeff really is running a top notch business there. Every time I stop by, they have truckloads of machines going to Asia and europe. Truckload meaning literally!

Did that 10 years ago with my Orbitec Defender. The two main problems with it is that it will sling the cleaning solution out much more that a rotary. if you come within a foot of a wall or furniture you'll get your solution all over it.
The other thing is the bearing, if the solution comes in contact with it then the grease will be washed out and it will not last long even if it is a sealed bearing.

Because of the back and forth movement of the oscillation a lot of the cleaning solution stayes under the machine which causes the problem.

A bunch of people have those wheels on cimexes and orbots. I'm sure HOS has it or excellent supply.

Naturally, in the 'states, I can't help you.

BUT, the ones that I adapted onto my Cimex, I bought from a store that sells wheelchairs, etc; for the disabled.

Possibly golf stores may have similar.

I prefer the pump-ups to these semi hard tires.

They have more give when going over objects and don't jar the machine and your body when traversing steps.

These are mine on my 'Mex;

PS:: I think you may find that the wheels on the Orbot are very similar to those on several dehumidifiers.

Jimmy, Northerntool.com has an assortment of tires, wheels, casters. That's not direct from the manufacture but I'm not sure you will be able to buy direct from a manufacture unless you place a large enough order, but give the Flintstone Wheel Company a try I think they are in your home town.
