Hanging out with the guys from Westpac all weekend I got to go into depth on their mini ball valves and this brass did he hear is proven the last a full season in Florida mounted to the front of the machine so put it on the end of the hose and you should be able to get quite a few years out of it especially after I lock tight the extra long screw for the handle.

I'm also now carrying these on site pressure hose repair kits which according to most never need to be replaced as they hold that tight..

All this stuff cost peanuts and will be up on my site soon

Are you able to adjust the seat aroud the ball? Not if, but when it starts leaking? Thats the problem with the wanders valve handle stays on un like the cheapo chrome valve but when it starts leaking there is no adjustment . The cheapo chrome valve isn't worth a damn but if it starts leaking you can remove it and with an allen wrench you can adjust the seat around the ball. Too bad that valve seldom lasts long enough to need to be adjusted but if it did you could can you adjust this one? If so ill order 6 or 7 to try. Im using wanders valves now but im tired of throwing away a perfectly good valve simply because there's no adjustment to stop it from leaking and the pressure builds up high enough to make it difficult to break connection at the quick connects

Gator crimps
Did you buy them from Joe?
I did, for the past 30+ years ive used parker version with only 1 problem, the insert ( i can purchase separately) would eventually corrode away i bought 10 of the gator grips and have had no less than 5 in the past 3 years blow off the hose so far. Now if i hadn't installed hundreds of these in the past with not a single one blowing off you could chuak it up to improper installation but i think cheap Chinese built product with poor tolerances and or quality control. I say that because ive taken the very same gatter grip that blu off a wanders crappy buck a foot hose, install it on Goodyear neptune 3000 hose and had it blow off it too

I’ve never installed them with the intention of using the any longer than it takes me to get new hose in
All my hoses use those type ends. Closest place to have an end installed for me is a 2½ hour drive (one way) so for over 3 decades now have been building my own ¼&⅜ hoses using parker reusable ends. When i bought um in lots of 25 they cost about the same as having my supplier squeeze one on. And a added benefit was when the parkers started leaking most of the time i could carefully unscrew the old stem and just screw a new one in after using um so long i didn't have to buy the entire unit t could just buy the stem im also able to purchase the female jic non-working swivel insert also
